Ports

Digital base that collects the location of the facilities for port use existing in Andalusia. It is generated to gather and maintain in a digitalised information layer the territorial distribution of facilities for port use in the Autonomous Community in order to establish a cartographic reference for the planning tasks of the Public Administration. It aims to respond to the needs of the “Infrastructure Plan for Transport Sustainability in Andalusia (PISTA 2007-2013)”. The data, which are in shape format, are updated as necessary since 2006 in the Public Agency of Ports of Andalusia of the Ministry of Public Works and Transport, the body responsible for the data, specifically has the competences in the marinas existing in the Autonomous Community. The rest of the port facilities depend on the State, the latter being in charge of updating the information.
