This map shows for each cell the chance (in %) that this cell will be visited by pollinators. This probability was determined on the basis of the flight distance of pollinators around suitable habitats (Broekx et al., 2013, De Bruyn, 2014). The flight distance was calculated on the basis of a generic formula for pollinators flying distance (Gathmann & Tscharntke 2002). The habitats originate from the map “Suitable habitat for pollinators” in the Atlas Natural Capital. The map was produced for the Atlas Natural Capital by knowledge institutes RIVM and VITO (Belgium).
