Dataset description
This table contains prognosis figures on the number of live-born children by mother’s age (at 31 December) and the age-specific fertility rate of women, both by female grade. The figures refer to the population of the Netherlands.

The figures in this table are forecast figures calculated.
Changes as of 16 December 2020:
None, this is a new table in which the previous forecast has been adjusted based on the observations now available. The forecast period now runs from 2020 to 2070.
When are new figures coming?
The frequency of appearance of this table is one-off. In December 2023, a new table was published with the prognosis of the number of children born alive.
