Dataset description

The College decides to establish a List of Protective Wood Rebellions, with which the trees and other wood uprisings on this list enjoy special protection. The Trees Ordinance describes the special status of these trees. In 2009, a list of municipal monumental and valuable trees was established, which was updated on the basis of the database. Newly added to the list are the monumental trees in possession of other estates than the municipality, the so-called private monumental trees. The private monumental trees were identified and assessed on the spot in 2019 and are now also protected with the establishment of this list.
