This table contains information on the loss and profit account, balance sheet, investments and staffing of groups of companies with hospital care, mental health care, disabled care, nursing home care, home care, social care and women’s care and youth care. This concerns only publicly funded enterprise groups. The enterprise groups are classified by main economic activity according to the Standard Business Classification (SBI) 2008. This is a so-called institutional perspective that takes into account all the ancillary activities of the group of companies considered. Year-on-year developments in finance and staff are partly influenced by population changes. Changes in the main activity, incorporations and abolitions lead to changes in the population of enterprise groups. Mergers, acquisitions and divisions can also result in changes in the population.
