This table shows the debts of public enterprises with the exception of De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB), insofar as they are economically significant amounts (0.01 % of GDP). Debts are the total of deposits, short-term debt securities, long-term debt securities, short-term loans and long-term loans on the liabilities side of the government company’s balance sheet. The debts of public enterprises are also available per subsector of the government with the most controlled government. In addition, the public undertakings are divided into financial institutions and other (loss or profitable) institutions. All data relate to balance sheet stocks at the end of the year. This table gives effect to the EU Directive 2011/85. This Directive forms part of six European legislative measures known as ‘Six Pack’.
