Dataset description

This table gives an overview of the non-financial transactions per quarter of the various (sub)sectors of the Dutch economy. The figures are presented in the form of resources and spending. Government figures for the quarters from 2001 to 2005 are published at a higher level of aggregation than for the following quarters. Non-financial transactions are estimated for the main sectors of the economy: non-financial corporations, financial institutions, general government, households including non-profit institutions for households, households, non-profit institutions for the benefit of households and abroad. Moreover, the sectors of financial institutions and general government are still broken down by subsectors. The non-financial accounts are described on the basis of a large number of different transactions. Each transaction describes a piece of an economic sub-process, all sub-processes together give the entire economic process of non-financial transactions again. Sub-processes are: the production process, income formation, income distribution, income redistribution, income spending and capital formation. Data available from: first quarter 2005; for the government from the first quarter of 2001. Frequency: Discontinued Status of the figures The figures for the quarters of 2009 and earlier are final. The figures for more recent quarters have a (further) provisional character. When are new figures coming? This table has been discontinued as of 09-10-2012 and replaced by the “Low transactions by sector” table.
