Region Specific Package (Environmental Vision 2014) (history)

Version of Regio Specifiek Pakket adopted by Provincial Staten van Drenthe on 2 July 2014.For Drenthe, the province considers it important to position Assen within the national urban network. Axes must be able to develop complementary to Groningen. For example, the province of Drenthe endorses the choice of compaction of the city that was made as part of the FlorijnAs area development. The implementation of the FlorijnAs falls within the Region Specific Package (RSP) Assen.For Emmen and Coevorden, funds are available for the development of the centre, the relocation of the Emmen Animal Park and the development of the railway connection with Zwolle and Twente. In Coevorden, in addition to the city centre, work is also being done on the development of the station area.
