This table provides forecasts for young people aged 0 to 25 by age and region on 1 January. The basis for the regions for all the periods set out in the table is the situation as at 1 January 2013. In addition to parts of the country, provinces and COROP areas, these are municipalities that have 100 000 or more inhabitants on 1 January 2013 or at any time in the period 2014-2040 (presumably) 100 000.
In order to show how young people in the Netherlands are doing, the National Youth Monitor describes more than 70 topics in addition to this topic. The topics are called indicators.

All figures included in the table are forecast figures calculated.

The underlying encodings of the classifications used in this table have been adjusted. These are now in line with the standard coding established by CBS.
The structure and data of the table have not been modified.
