Regional forecast 2015-2040; population development, regional classification 2015

This table contains figures on future developments (living births, deceased persons, immigration, emigration including the balance of administrative corrections, establishment and departure to other municipalities) and size at the end of the period of the population of the Netherlands by region. In addition, figures are available on the housing assumptions. In this new table, the previous forecast has been adjusted based on the latest insights. The period, for which the forecast has been determined, now runs from 2016 to 2040. The figures are based on the 2015 regional breakdown. Data available from: (prospective period) 2015-2019 Status of the figures: The figures in this table are forecast figures calculated. Changes as of 10 September 2019: This table has been discontinued. See paragraph 3 for the successor to this table. Changes as of 28 September 2016 The figures relating to the subjects of live births, deceased, immigration, emigration including corrections, fortifications from another municipality and departures to another municipality over the periods from 2020 have been corrected for all municipalities. The correction on 20 September accidentally shifted the figures for the municipalities. This has now been put back in the right place. The correction does not affect the other figures in the table. Changes as of 20 September 2016 The figures of the number of deceased for the COROP areas Delfzijl and surroundings, Other Groningen and Oost-Groningen were included in the table in the wrong order. This was true for all periods. The figures have been corrected. Changes as of 12 September 2016: None, this is a new table in which the previous forecast has been adjusted based on the observations now available. The forecast period now runs from 2016 to 2040. When are new figures coming? The frequency of appearance of this table is one-off. In the summer of 2022, the new forecasts on population development by region will be published in a new table.
