Dataset description

The registration monuments contain all national monuments and municipal monuments in Amsterdam. The Heritage Ordinance Amsterdam (2015) protects cultural historical values within the municipality of Amsterdam. The Heritage Ordinance regulates, among other things, the designation of objects as a municipal monument. On behalf of the Minister for Education Culture and Science, the National Cultural Heritage Agency designates objects as a national monument. The UNESCO World Heritage area in the inner city is part of this nuclear registration.
