This table contains data on the remuneration of employees, the wage costs and the volume of labour of employees employed by companies and institutions established in the Netherlands. The remuneration of employees is divided into wages and social contributions borne by employers. Wage costs are the total of wages, social contributions borne by employers and final taxes reduced by wage cost subsidies. The labour volume of workers is given in average number of jobs (subdivided to full-time/part-time jobs and gender), average number of working years, hours worked, paid hours and agreed hours of year. In addition to the original figures, the table shows the remuneration of workers, wages and labour costs in relation to the average number of working years and hours worked.

The data from 1969 to 2015 are final. The data for 2016 is provisional. As this table has been discontinued, the data will no longer be definitive.

The Central Statistical Office has recently carried out a revision of the national accounts. New statistical sources and estimation methods are used.
