The table provides data on research activities and development (R & D) of companies, institutions and universities carried out with own staff in the Netherlands. This concerns: — expenditure incurred on behalf of the R & D with its own staff; — its own R & D staff; — the number of companies with R & D. The main reason is that the number of companies in these cells so small that the statistical reliability is too low to to consider these data as informative. The adjustment was made retroactively.
