Research and development; institutions, size of business 2002-2012

This table contains data on the R & D activities of institutions in the Netherlands. This concerns: — the number of institutions with own R & D activities; — expenditure incurred on behalf of the R & D with its own staff; — the R & D staff, both in numbers of employed persons and in numbers of working years. The data relate to institutions with 10 and more employed persons and are broken down by size of the institution. Data available from 2002 to 2012. Status of the figures: The figures up to 2011 are final. The 2012 data is provisional. As this table has been discontinued, the data will no longer be definitive.
