This table provides information on the evolution of the turnover of the
retailer. The turnover can be divided into value, price and volume.
The data can be further divided into a number of branches according to
CBS’s Standard Business Classification 1993.
The results are expressed in indices based on the year 2000.
Also, the trend compared to the same period of the year
indicated for it. A number of industries lack value and/or
price and volume data because the information becomes insufficiently reliable
it’s supposed to be.
Data available from: 2000-2008.
Status of the figures:
All figures are final.
Changes as of 20 May 2009:
Response met for the months August 2008 to December 2008
has been implemented in the outcomes. The growth rate is in most
sectors of the retail sector hardly corrected (some tenths of
one percentage point).
This table was discontinued as of December 2008. The statistical study that
the basis of the results in this table has since
in January 2009, two major changes were made.
— First, the basis for the indices has been shifted from the year 2000
to 2005.
— Second, CBS’s Standard Business Classification (SBI) is drastic
revisited.
As a result, from 2009 onwards, the figures can no longer be compared to the previous ones.
for years.
CBS has therefore released a new table. See for more
information paragraphs 3 and 4.
