Roadways:
The following types of lanes are shown in column omschr:
— separate lane
— unseparated lane
— alternating strip
“Driving lanes” are separated if a physical separation exists for traffic in two different directions. A physical separation means that main lanes are separated by a middle gauge, guide rail, etc. so that traffic moves in separate directions. In the case of unseparated lanes, this physical separation is not present.
