Road transport; key figures by industry

This table provides data on the transported cargo weight, load tonne-kilometres, number of journeys and distances travelled by Dutch commercial vehicles with a maximum permissible weight (load capacity plus empty weight) exceeding 3.5 tonnes. The figures shall be broken down by transport flows. In addition, a distinction is made between the use of these goods vehicles by companies, broken down by the main industries (SBI2008). Not all industries are listed in the table because they contain too few observations to be able to publish reliable figures. In the total A-U figure, however, the figures of these industries are taken into account so that the total is greater than the sum of the individual sectors shown. Data available from: 2013 Status of the figures: The figures until 2018 are final, the 2019 and 2020 figures are further provisional and the 2021 figures have a provisional status. Changes as of 15 April 2022: The provisional figures for reporting year 2021 have been added. When will there be new figures? New figures will be available 4 months after the end of the reporting year.
