This table contains annual figures on the population of the Netherlands who work as self-employed as determined on the basis of integral income registrations. The data is special to the type of self-employed. This is a subdivision between self-employed persons with (zmp) or without staff (ZTP) and assisting family members. These groups are broken down into those where the income as self-employed is the main income from work (main job) or the secondary income from work (evening). Information is also available for self-employed and zmp’ers about whether they work as an independent entrepreneur, DGA or ‘other’ self-employed. These figures are further broken down by different personal characteristics and the sector (SBI 2008) in which one is self-employed.
Data available from: 2011, with the exception of educational data. These will be available from 2014.
