Self-employed persons; income, wealth, region (classification 2021)

This table provides data on the income and wealth of self-employed persons by region. A distinction is made between, on the one hand, those for whom the main income is generated from self-employment and, on the other hand, all persons with income from self-employment. The figures in this table are further broken down by type of self-employed activity and by economic activity. Various levels of regional divisions are available, from municipality to country. Target population, wealth, and municipal breakdown reference date is 1 January of the reporting year. All figures in this table are at person level, including capabilities; (business) assets are determined per household, and are allocated to all persons in the household as a measure of prosperity. Target population and power reference date is 1 January of the reporting year. The General Business Register (ABR) is used to determine the SBI of self-employed persons. Data available from: 2007. Status of the figures: The figures for 2006 to 2019 are final. The 2020 figures are provisional. Changes as of 10 March 2022: The figures on self-employed capital in 2010 were not correct and have been removed from the table. For this year, the 2011 assets can be assumed as the reference date has been postponed from 31 December to 1 January since 2011. When will there be new figures?
