Service prices; commercial services and transport, index 2015=100

This table shows the price indices, quarterly changes and annual changes in the prices of services provided by companies in commercial services and transport. A breakdown has been made by types of services according to the European Coordinated Classification of Products by Activity (CPA 2008). For some services, a further subdivision has been made based on market data different from the CPA. This subheading is indicated by a letter behind the CPA code. The Services Price Index covers the following sectors of commercial services and transport: H Transportation and storage I Provision of accommodation and meals J Information and communication K Financial services and insurance L Real estate operation and trading M Professionals and scientific and technical services N Administrative and support services The price indices in this table all have the index reference year 2015. The annual average, quarterly and annual change have been calculated on the basis of unrounded indices. Data available from: 2002 4th quarter Frequency: quarterly Status of the figures: The figures for the most recent quarter are further provisional. These figures will be definitive upon publication of the next quarter. Amendments as of 15 June 2022: The further preliminary figures for the 1st quarter of 2022 have been added. Changes as of 15 June 2021: The figures for H51 Aviation have not been published for 2021 quarterly. Due to the market developments resulting from the Corona crisis, it was not possible to obtain representative figures for this period and to calculate a sufficiently reliable index. When are new figures coming? New figures are available twice a quarter. Halfway through each quarter, the results of the price method model prices (approximately half of the branches) are published and the other branches using the unit value price method are published towards the end of the quarter. This concerns the price developments of the previous quarter. The Service Price Index of total commercial services is also calculated and published at the end of each quarter.
