Dataset description
The Natural Gas Signaling Card (traces) identifies the locations of natural gas pipelines older than 30 years of age, or are classified as ‘replaceable’. The category “to be replaced” is based on materials such as asbestos and grey cast iron that are collectively agreed to be removed. The natural gas pipelines are aggregated at the neighbourhood level (CBS). Full list of materials to be replaced: AC, GGIJ, GIJ, GIJgeb, nGij, Facade transit_PEbs, PE 63 (constructed for 1978), PE 80 (inlaid for 1978), PE 100 (inlaid for 1978), PE 17.6 (inlaid for 1978), PVCWhite.
