Social contacts and social participation

This table provides information on the participation in social activities and social participation of persons aged 15 and over. Social activities involve contacts with family, friends and neighbours and informal help that people give to others. Social participation involves participation in organisations, such as membership of associations, association participation and volunteering. Political participation is also part of social participation. This table shows participation in political actions (from the age of 18) and political interest. All topics are broken down by gender, age, migrant background, highest educational attainment, household status and urbanity of the municipality.
