Dataset description
This table presents five social indicators at regional level. The social indicators try to outline the ‘state of youth’ on a broad outline per municipality. The information in this table can then be compared to the youth aid use of a municipality.
In order to show how young people in the Netherlands are doing, the National Youth Monitor describes more than 70 topics in addition to these topics. The topics are called indicators.
Data available from 2014 to 2020:
It varies per indicator for which year the figures are available.
— Children in welfare families: 2014-2020
— Participation 3 rd graders vmbo: 2015/“16, 2016/”17, 2017/“18, 2018/”19, 2019/“20 and 2020/”21
— Registered suspects: 2014-2020
— Young people working: 2014-2020.
Status of the figures:
The figures in this table are definitive with the exception of registered suspects 2019 and 2020, participation of 3 rd graders vmbo 2020/'21 and young people working 2020.
Changes as of 2 December 2022:
None, this table has been discontinued.
Changes as of 15 April 2022:
For working young people,
— Replace the 2019 provisional figures with final figures
— Provisional figures added for 2020.
