Noise map 2016 for Schiphol within the framework of the Environmental Noise Regulation. The noise map for Schiphol implements the requirements of the Aviation Act resulting from the European Environmental Noise Directive. Calculated according to weighted noise load over a day — (Lden) and on the night (Lnight). The contours on the map are based on model calculations of the NLR and provide insight into the noise in the previous year (2016), here the year of use for Schiphol Airport that ran from 1 November 2015 to 1 November 2016.
About the map
