Start-up entrepreneurs, migration background; branch of industry

This table contains figures on the number of entrepreneurs that started a business. These data are broken down by migration background and industry/sector according to the Standard Business Classification 2008 (SBI 2008) and by some (groups of) countries. This table has been developed for the programme “SMEs and Entrepreneurship”. Data available from: 2010. Status of the figures: The data until 2019 is final, 2020 is provisional. For subsequent publications, they can be adjusted on the basis of newly received information. Changes as of 26 April 2022: The data for 2019 have been updated on the basis of complied with information. As of reporting year 2019, the following migration backgrounds are no longer available: — Czechoslovakia @-@ Slovakia (old) — Yugoslavia (old) — Soviet Union (old) As a result, the aggregates Other Europe, Other Europe (excluding NL) and Other countries in the EU have changed in composition and not entirely comparable to the reporting periods before 2019. When are new figures coming? New figures are expected to be available in April 2023.
