In an election to the House of Representatives, the Dutch elect the representatives of the House of Representatives. Elections to the House of Representatives, according to the Electoral Act, take place every four years, in March. If elections are held for the municipal council or for Provincial States in that year, the parliamentary elections will be held in May. Sometimes it can be decided to hold early elections. This happens, among other things, when a cabinet falls. These elections can be held in every month.
