National net lending or net borrowing is the difference between the assets of the Netherlands on the rest of the world and the liabilities of the Netherlands to the rest of the world.
National net lending or net borrowing presents the amount all sectors together in the Netherlands can lend/invest or has to borrow, given the current and capital transactions.

Status of the figures:
Data from 1995 up to and including 2020 are final. Dates of 2021 are provisional.
Changes as of June 24th 2022:
Dates of 2021 have been added to this table.
Dividends in 2019 payed by non-financial corporations to non-financial corporations are revised downwards. Payments to households and the rest of the world are revised upwards. Therefore, data of some time series in the calculation of National net lending or net borrowing in 2019 have been changed.
When will new figures be published?
Provisional data are published 6 months after the end of the reporting year. Final data are released 18 months after the end of the reporting year.
