Successful education; youth up to 25 years old, residential region

This table provides information on the number of successful young people in education aged 12 to 25 in the Netherlands. Breakdowns are made by gender, age, origin and region. The regional data presented in this table are based on the ‘domestic municipality’ on 1 October of the relevant school year. The ‘residential municipality’ describes the population of pupils living in the municipality concerned. In order to show how young people in the Netherlands are doing, the National Youth Monitor describes more than 70 topics in addition to this topic. The topics are called indicators. Data available from: It differs per indicator from which year data is available. Data for graduates in secondary education are available from school year 2003/04, that of MBO from 2005/06 and that of HBO and Wed from 2000/01. Status of the figures: The figures for the most recent period are provisional. These figures will become final at the time of publication of the next period. Changes as of 1 October 2021: The preliminary figures for the school year 2018/'19 have now been replaced by final ones. Preliminary figures have been added for school year 2019/'20. When are new figures coming? New figures are expected in the 3 rd quarter of 2022.
