This table contains figures on the supply of electricity and natural gas to companies and other utility buildings. This concerns delivery via the public network, including the delivery of the public network to corporate networks. Therefore, these figures do not include electricity produced by companies that are used for their own use.
The data are broken down by industry and region.
The figures have been calculated on the basis of data from the interconnection registers of the public electricity and natural gas network operators. Data were obtained from all network operators in the Netherlands.
The supply of natural gas from the D Energy sector has been secured in consultation with stakeholders in 2015 and 2016. This is to prevent follow-up failures in other industries. Please note: industry D was also not included in the total natural gas in 2015 and 2016 (A-U All economic activities).
