The map gives an overview of the recording points for drinking water from the surface water. A distinction is made between points where it is absorbed directly from the surface water and points where the water is absorbed via bank filtration (artificial infiltration of river water by gravel layers or other permeable layers close to the bank with the aim of improving water quality).
