Dataset description

This table contains figures on the number of third-country nationals detained in the Netherlands whose illegal presence has been established. Third-country nationals are persons of a nationality other than those of one of the Member States of the European Union, Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein or Switzerland. Stateless people are also counted among the third-country nationals. Data available from: 2015. Status of the figures: The figures up to 2019 are final and the figures for 2020 are provisional. Changes as of June 2021: The figures for 2020 have been added. When are new figures coming? The 2021 figures will be available in June 2022.
