Dataset description
This table provides information on the number of third-country nationals refused entry to the Netherlands at the external Schengen border.
Third-country nationals are persons of a nationality other than those of one of the Member States of the European Union, Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein or Switzerland. Stateless people are also counted among the third-country nationals.
The data were compiled for Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union.

Status of the figures:
The figures up to 2020 are final and the figures for 2021 are provisional.
Changes as of June 2022:
The preliminary figures for 2021 have been added.
When are new figures coming?
The 2022 figures will be available in June 2023.
