An overall overview of all purchase dates within the central government for the year 2020.
The purchase expenditure is the expenditure incurred by the central government on goods and services from suppliers. Once a year, the Minister of the Interior and Kingdom Relations receives information on the purchase expenditure of the previous year from all ministries and sub-departments. The Ministry uses this information to provide the category managers of the Kingdom, who purchase and tender for the generic procurement categories, with nationwide procurement information.
Since 2012, this purchase information has also been used to inform the Lower House about the purchases made by the State and the share of small and medium-sized enterprises in it. This is done in the annual report on Bedrijfsvoering Rijk.
