Treatment of urban waste water; process data 1981-2013

This table contains figures for urban or public sewage treatment plants under management at water boards. The table provides information on the functioning of the treatment process of urban wastewater treatment plants: the supply and disposal of contaminants, the purification efficiency achieved and the average values of a number of specific process parameters (= variable with which the purification process can be controlled and optimised). The data is available for the following selections: — type of treatment plant — type and management form of surface water discharged. — size class layout by capacity, national classification. — size class classification by capacity, according to EU Urban Waste Water Directive. Data can also be displayed by river basin district. Data available from: 1981 to 2013 Status of the figures: The figures are final.
