Unemployed labour force; duration of unemployment, 2011-2022

This table contains figures on the unemployment duration of the unemployed working population aged 15 to 75. This makes it possible to determine the number of short-term and long-term unemployed. Short-term unemployed people are unemployed for less than 12 months. The long-term unemployed are 12 months or more unemployed. The figures in the table can be broken down by gender, age, migration background and educational level. The table contains both quarterly and annual figures. Due to changes in the research design and questionnaire of the EBB, a revision of the figures for reporting year 2021 was carried out in the first quarter of 2022. The figures for 2021 are not necessarily comparable to the previous reporting periods. Data available from 2011 to 2022 Status of the figures: The figures in this table are final. Changes as of 17 August 2022: None, this table has been discontinued. Changes as of 15 February 2022: The annual figures for 2021 and the quarterly figures for the third and fourth quarters of 2021 have been published. The figures for the first two quarters of 2021 have been revised. When are new figures coming? No longer applicable.
