This table contains figures on the unemployment duration of the unemployed working population aged 15 to 75. This makes it possible to determine the number of short-term and long-term unemployed. Short-term unemployed people are unemployed for less than 12 months. The long-term unemployed are 12 months or more unemployed. The figures in the table can be broken down by gender, age, migration background and educational level. The table contains both quarterly and annual figures.
Due to changes in the research design and questionnaire of the EBB, a revision of the figures for reporting year 2021 was carried out in the first quarter of 2022. The figures for 2021 are not necessarily comparable to the previous reporting periods.
