This table contains figures on the unemployment duration of unemployed people aged between 15 and 75 years per quarter. A distinction is made between short-term and long-term unemployed. Short-term unemployed are 0 to 12 months unemployed and long-term unemployed 12 months or more unemployed. The figures in the table can be distinguished by gender and age.
The duration of unemployment is the number of months a person is unemployed. This is determined on the basis of:
— the moment of search for work and
— the moment of termination of the last job.
The figures in the table are based on the Occupational Population Survey (EBB).
The annual figures are the average of four quarters of the year in question.
