Dataset description

Flat elements of the cultural-historical main structure for the province of Drenthe concerning selected higher backs. These are the Hondsrug, the Back of Rolde south of Rolde and the Havelterberg. These backs are of great importance in the history of Drenthe, in prehistory they were used to settle and move. This is particularly evident on the Hondsrug, the many hunebeds and burial mound groups. Cart tracks still bear witness to prehistoric routes across the Hondsrug and Rolde Rug.
