Use of plant protection products in agriculture; crop and application ‘95-’ 12

This table contains figures on the use of plant protection products in agriculture. More specifically, this concerns the protection of crop production in arable and horticultural sectors. The figures are broken down by crop and type of application. In addition to the total amount of resources used, the use per hectare and the use per crop sector shall be indicated. In addition, the table includes data on the number of holdings with the use of plant protection products and the area on which these products are used. The use includes the use by on-farm contractors (work by third parties). Data on the use of plant protection products by active substance and type of application and on non-chemical control such as mechanical and biological control methods are also available to CBS. These figures can be found in three other tables (see paragraph 3. Links to relevant tables and articles). Data available from: 1995. Status of the figures: All figures are final.
