This table contains figures on the use of plant protection products in agriculture. More specifically, this concerns the protection of crop production in arable and horticultural sectors. The figures are broken down by active substance, type of use and crop.
In addition to the total use of the active substances, the table shall also indicate the area on which the specific active substance has been used. The table also contains the annual dose per hectare.
Data on the use of the total active substance per crop and crop sector and on non-chemical control such as mechanical and biological control methods are also known at the CBS. These figures can be found in three other tables, see paragraph 3.
