Vacancies (open, accrued and filled); government and education

This table shows the number of open, emerging and filled vacancies in government and education. The data on job vacancies are detailed to the public sector. Data available from: 1997 1st quarter. Status of the figures: The figures in this table are final until 2021, 2022 figures are provisional. A number of figures have not yet been released and therefore cannot be shown. These figures are included in the total. Once these figures are released, they will be available on StatLine. As of the third quarter of 2008, the vacancy survey has improved the number of vacancies at the Ministry of Defence. As a result, more than 7 thousand vacancies will be counted in the third quarter of 2008. These vacancies are visible to the government. This should be taken into account when interpreting the results. As a result of these vacancies from Defence, the number of open, resulting and filled vacancies in the third quarter of 2008 is not fully consistent with the number of open vacancies in the second quarter. The results of this table are based up to the second quarter of 2009 on calculated data based on the observation according to SBI 1993. Data from the third quarter of 2009 are based on the observation according to SBI 2008. As a result, the number of open, emerging and filled vacancies in the third quarter of 2009 is not fully consistent with the number of vacancies open in the second quarter. Changes as of 17 May 2022: Added its quarterly figures for the 1st quarter of 2022 and the figures of municipal government, education and defence of the 4th quarter of 2021 have now been released and added. When are new figures coming? Figures for the second quarter of 2022 will be published in August 2022.
