Vegetationrailer hedges

The Vegetatielegger is an instrument that contributes to the safe flow and water quality of the Dutch rivers. The Vegetation Investor consists of overview maps and rules. Together they indicate the standard for vegetation, from the point of view of high water safety and water quality.The vegetation in the floodplains affects the flowability of the floodplains. Despair of vegetation can lead to propulsion and higher water levels under circumferential conditions. That is why the Vegetation Investor sets a standard for vegetation roughness in the catchment area of the Dutch rivers. The vegetation planes (flats) together with the hedges (line objects) and the trees (point objects) form the description of the maximum permitted vegetation in the floodplains. This tree-shape (point objects) together with the Vegetation planes (polygons) and the hedges (line objects) forms the description of the vegetation in the floodplains.
