Vehicles released for disassembly by weight class; 1996-1999

Within the system of waste statistics, the CBS investigation into vehicle wrecks. Purpose of the research has come to a figure of the total number vehicles offered for dismantling in the Netherlands. This table provides information on the disassembly vehicles released and their total weight by vehicle category (passenger cars and commercial vehicles) and by weight class per category of vehicle. Data available from: 1996 When are new figures coming? Table has been discontinued. — From 2008 onwards, the definitions for determining the type of vehicle in the motor vehicle park tightened. To keep the numbers up-to-date similarly, the years 2000 to 2007 have been overhauled. The result of the overhaul is that a limited number of vehicles they belong to a different type of vehicle than before the overhaul and that some “unknown” vehicles are now known. Some of the available information could not be revised and therefore not fully comparable to data from the years 2000 and later, it concerns the years 1996-1999.
