Well-being; environment and environment, 2003-2012

This table contains data on the well-being of the population of the Netherlands aged 18 years or older in terms of happiness and satisfaction with life. These topics are broken down by the urbanity of the municipality. In addition, it is broken down by the personal characteristics of gender, age and origin. The data comes from the Permanent Investigation of Living (POLS, 2003-2009), the Volunteering and Social Cohesion module (V & S, 2010 old method), the Social Cohesion and Welfare research (2010 new method, 2012) and the Social Statistical File (SSB). SSB data on the urbanity of the municipality of the relevant year have been added to POLS 2003 to 2009. As from 2010, SSB data for the reporting year concerned are not yet available at the time of publication, SSB data from the previous year have been used. Data available from 2003 to 2012. Status of the figures: The data is final. Changes as of 16 January 2015 None, this table has been discontinued. Changes as of 16 December 2013 In 2010 there was a redesign of the study. As a result, the figures from that year onwards are no longer entirely comparable to figures from previous years.
