This file contains the weeds that are located within the province of Groningen. The province of Groningen thinks it is important that the relief of weeds remains. The quality of these core characteristics can be affected by cultivation and planting on and in the vicinity of these weeds. By agricultural use, the relief of the weeds can flatten and the soil archive can be affected. In addition, deep dewatering around the weeds poses a threat to the existing soil archive. Wierden are supplemented to restore the violated appearance and to better protect the soil archive from erosion. Municipalities are expected to take into account in their zoning plans the protection of the openness and relief of weeds. In order to guarantee the open nature of the weeds, the Provincial Environment Regulation 2016 rules are included. This dataset is partly included in the Provincial Environment Vision 2016-2020 and the Environment Regulation 2016.
