Wind energy Delfzijl (Structure Vision Eemsmond-Delfzijl)

This file contains the locations of a total of 5 wind farms around Delfzijl, established in the Structuurvisie Eemsmond-Delfzijl. The province has a mandate to place a combined capacity of up to 855,5 MegaWatt (MW) of wind energy on land in the province. Wind farms should be operational by the end of 2020. To the southeast of Delfzijl are two existing wind farms (Delfzijl Noord and Delfzijl Zuid). In the long term, three wind farms will be realised in the Delfzijl concentration area (Oosterhorn, Geefsweer and Delfzijl Zuid Expansion). 138 MW has already been realised in the Delfzijl concentration area. In the three new wind farms, a combined power of 158 MW can be realised up to and estimated.
