This table contains data on accidents at work of the Dutch worker aged 15 to 75, by professional level and professional direction. The table presents figures on the share of workers in an accident at work over the past 12 months and the type of injury suffered by workers. These include both accidents at work that lead to absenteeism and accidents without absenteeism at work.
Since 2015, the measurement of accidents at work has improved. An additional check has been carried out to determine whether the accident at work has occurred in the past 12 months. As a result, the share of workers with an accident at work is slightly lower from 2015.
Data available from: 2014.
Status of the figures:
Figures in this table are final.
Changes as of 20 April 2022
The annual figures for 2021 have been added.
Changes as of 31 July 2020
A change has been made in the ROA-CBS 2014 profession classification (BRC2014). In the new version of the BRC2014, the profession ‘0551 Managers z.n.d.’ is no longer classified at vocational level ‘unknown’, but at occupational level 4. This changes the results of professional level ‘unknown’ and occupational level 4 for the years 2014 to 2018.
Changes as of 29 August 2019
The figures belonging to the category ‘occupational level unknown’ were incorrect for 2014. For 2015 to 2017, these were unjustified as unknown, insufficiently reliable or secret. This has been corrected.
When are new figures coming?
The figures for the previous year will be published in May.
