Dataset description

The figures presented are based on questions about labour conditions. presently in the Permanent Investigation of Living Situation (POLS) of CBS. In the module Health of POLS are questions from 1997 to 2004 about working conditions included. To persons who are employed labour force (persons aged 15 to 64 who are at least weekly 12 hours of paid work) have been asked questions about working conditions and health problems that can be traced back to excessive workload. These questions each year relate to about 4,000 working persons. This StatLine table shows the results of the control capabilities over the work, the experienced workload and the valuation of materi%le and immateri%le rewards. On the one hand, the control possibilities stand for control and the responsibilities of workers and, on the other hand, for the opportunities they have to have specific skills in the work use and further develop. The workload refers to the requirements on the work in terms of work pace, amount of work and time get to do the work. Little control, a lot of workload and low rewards are forms of psychic workload. In the table, the data can be divided into the following characteristics: — gender, — age class, — highest level of education attained, — professional level, — working time and — industries. Data available from: 1997. For about half of the data information is available until the year 2002. The Other information is available until 2004. Frequency: Stop it. Status of the figures: Final Changes compared to the previous version: 4 November 2005 The figures for the year 2004 have been added. When are new figures coming? The publication is effective from 1 January 2005 was discontinued.
