Young people up to 25 years of age; personal characteristics, forecast 2018-2060

This table provides forecast figures for the number of young people aged 0 to 25 on 1 January of the forecast year. Breakdowns have been made for gender, age and migration background. The forecasts describe the young people aged 0 to 25 in the Netherlands. These are the persons listed in the municipal population registers. In order to show how young people are doing in the Netherlands, more than 70 topics are described in the National Youth Monitor in addition to this topic. The topics are referred to as indicators. Data available for: 2018-2060 Status of the figures: A new population forecast will be issued in December. A year later, the Core Forecast will be published in December at the same time as the Household Forecast. Six months later, the regional forecast comes out. In December of that year, another Key Forecast follows. The Core Forecast is a revision of the population forecast, in which short-term assumptions have been adjusted on the basis of observed developments in the previous year. This updated prognosis relates only to the number of inhabitants by age and gender. Changes as of 4 June 2021 None, this table has been stopped. When will there be new figures? No longer applicable.
