This table provides information on the number of young people under the age of 27 with social assistance, unemployment or Wajong benefits.
The social assistance benefits are provided on the basis of the Work and Assistance Act (WWB) and the Investing in Youth Act (WIJ), the unemployment benefits under the Unemployment Act (WW) and the Wajong-benefits under the Wet incapacity for Young Disabled Persons (Wajong) and the Work and Employment Support for Young Disabled Persons Act (Wet Wajong).
In order to show how young people in the Netherlands are doing, in addition to this table in the National Youth Monitor, more than 70 topics are described. The topics are called indicators.
