Zvw district nursing and treatment; declarations

This table contains annual figures on the expenditure on nursing and care for people who are still living at home (neighbourhood care), treatment of sensory disabled people and primary care (from 2017 onwards), charged to the Zorgverzekeringswet (Zvw). The figures refer to both care in kind and care paid out of personal budgets. In the case of treatment of sensory disabled persons and first-line residence, this concerns only care in kind. The figures are based on the value of declarations of realised care and estimates of care to be realised by healthcare institutions to health insurers and come from the Zorginstituut Nederland. Total declarations concern claims received in the current reporting period, received after the reporting period and (in the case of provisional and further provisional figures) still to be received. Data available from: 2015 Status of the figures: The figures for the most recent reporting year are provisional. The figures for the reporting year preceding the most recent reporting year are further provisional and the other years are final. Amendments as of 10 June 2022: For 2021, the provisional figures have been added. The further provisional figures for 2019 have also been adjusted to final figures and the provisional figures for 2020 until further provisional figures. When are new figures coming? The final figures for 2020, the further preliminary annual figures for 2021 and the preliminary annual figures for 2022 will be published in the second quarter of 2023.
